Old Head Golf Links is built on a 220-acre diamond of land jutting out over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. The promontory is almost an island with numerous caves running beneath your feet as you play the course. The links and practice area occupy 180 acres and the remaining 40 acres of unspoilt cliff frame the course.
The sensory overload does not stop there with the journey along the fragrant Hydrangea and Rosa Rugosa lining the Old Head driveway providing stunning vistas across the superbly manicured golf course, with the powerful ocean on both sides and beyond the famous lighthouse that lies in front.
OLD HEAD KINSALE GOLF LINKS
When it comes to golf, Ireland delivers. This fully-hosted golf tour will see you tee off at the ‘must-play’ stars of Irish links golf, which combined, deliver one of the finest golfing experiences. Once you have experienced these great layouts, you won’t be able to stop smiling. Beyond golf, Ireland is a land of unsurpassed beauty and fascination. While it is rugged along its jagged coastline, it is also idyllically serene in the hills and on the grassy plains that seem to stretch forever. No wonder this land has inspired poets and mystics alike.
You’ll begin your golfing journey in Dublin, where you’ll find absolute luxury at The Alex Hotel, where style, comfort and luxury meet. You will get to visit the Kilmainham Gaol, a former prison turned national museum, and go behind the scenes at the Guinness Storehouse, a truly unique and fascinating experience. Golfers will play their first round at The European Golf Club, #5 in Ireland. From Dublin to Kinsale, non-golfers visit The Old Head Signal Tower, while the golfers play their second round at the Old Head Kinsale Golf Club.
From Kinsale to Killarney, golfers get to play Ireland #1 course, Ballybunion Golf Club and Waterville Golf Links. Non-golfers will visit the charming town of Listowel as well as County Kerry (Kerry’s Writing Museum). From the spellbinding allure of Moll’s Gap to the majestic cascade of Torc Waterfall and the ethereal wonders of the Gap of Dunloe, every moment along this iconic route will leave you spellbound.
Finish in Limerick with a quality golfing experience at Adare Manor Golf Club. Visit the magnificent Bunratty Castle, Bunratty Folk Park and Bunratty House. The panoramic views of the idyllic Clare countryside will leave you breathless. Raise your glass to the cherished moments and triumphant memories of our journey at the presentation dinner at the Adare Manor Carriage.

→ If you can no longer travel or make it on the trip, you can transfer your booking to someone who can at no additional cost.

Travel Insurance
→ We strongly recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking this tour. Travel insurance is not just for when you are travelling, it also provides protection in the event that you need to cancel your trip due to other reasons covered under your policy. We recommend you check your insurance policy and its terms and conditions to ensure you are adequately covered.
Passports & Visas
→ A visa may be required. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they’re holding a current visa for the countries they’re visiting. If the traveller is on a non-Australian passport, a valid re-entry visa may be required.
→ You are responsible for visas, entry, health and other requirements, and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. Go Golfing is not responsible for passport and visa requirements or for any loss you sustain for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited.
→ A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers (including children and infants).
Airport Transfers
→ Airport transfers are included on the official arrival and departure dates of the tour (refer to the tour itinerary). If you are arriving earlier or departing later and have booked extra night accommodation with Go Golfing, transfers are included for you, otherwise, please note that airport transfers can be arranged for you at an additional cost.
→ Once your flights have been booked, please forward your full arrival and departure details to Reservations@GoGolfing.net.au.
Please note: If we don’t receive your flight details more than 21 days prior to the start of the tour, we cannot guarantee your airport transfers.
