Welcome to the Barnbougle 2 Ball Golf Challenge
You’ve heard the stories – Barnbougle is as good as it gets – deliciously unpredictable and highly addictive. It is some of the most exciting, magical golf in Australia. It is close to playing the likes of Lahinch and Ballybunion in Ireland and The Old Course at St Andrews, Scotland. And thanks to 6 different sets of tees and separate handicapped divisions, you don’t have to have a low handicap to enjoy it!

The Event
A WINNING FORMAT: The Barnbougle 2 Ball Golf Challenge is played over four rounds across Barnbougle’s spectacular links, featuring a mix of 2-Person Better Ball (2 rounds), 2-Person Ambrose, and 2-Person Aggregate. Divisions are available for Men’s, Ladies’ and Mixed teams, and all ages and handicaps are welcome.
Travelling solo? No problem. While the tournament is a two-person format, we’re always happy to pair you with a suitable partner, so you can enjoy the full experience.
IT’S FUN & SOCIAL: Beyond the golf, the week has a lively and social spirit. Players are placed into Team Colours, adding an extra layer of friendly rivalry throughout the event. Teams compete for the highest cumulative average score across the week to be crowned champions.
The festivities begin at the Welcome Dinner, where each team dresses in their assigned colours. Expect plenty of laughs, great food, and a relaxed atmosphere as the week gets underway.
There are bonus points up for grabs too — from fancy dress and chip-and-putt challenges to simply embracing the spirit of the event. It’s the perfect way to break the ice and start an unforgettable week of golf at Barnbougle ⛳️

Stay on-site at the Lost Farm Lodge and enjoy the stunning views of the Lost Farm course and the surrounding coastline and hinterland. BARNBOUGLE LOST FARM
Just a short pitching wedge across the river from The Dunes course lies Barnbougle’s second instalment – Lost Farm. Despite its close proximity to The Dunes, it is remarkably different, featuring 20-holes that wind along the coast and through the coastal dunes.
Ranked as the #2 public course in Australia by Golf Australia Magazine, and #23 in the World by US Golf Digest, the Lost Farm course is an exciting challenge for golfers from all levels of experience.

BARNBOUGLE DUNES
The elder of the two courses, The Dunes is a spectacular example of traditional Links golf. Why not take a Course Tour to become acquainted with this beautiful landscape?
Overlooking Barbougle’s pristine beach sits the stunning Dunes Clubhouse – where you can wind down between and after games with a refreshing drink and a hearty meal. The Dunes course also offers a range of services you can peruse, from club and golf cart hire to professional assistance from your own personal caddy.

BOUGLE RUN (OPTIONAL)
Bougle Run could be Australia’s most fun golf layout. Opened in 2021, the 14-hole course comprises of 12 par-3s and two par-4s and was designed by Bill Coore, the same guy who created the Lost Farm course.
This is not your usual golf round. Group sizes can be as large as you want them, there will be no hole indexes and the variety of tee options will ensure every golfer can get some joy from their first shot – even your non-golfing partner can have a good time!

Travel Insurance

Passports & Visas
→ A visa may be required. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they’re holding a current visa for the countries they’re visiting. If the traveller is on a non-Australian passport, a valid re-entry visa may be required.
→ You are responsible for visas, entry, health and other requirements, and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. Go Golfing is not responsible for passport and visa requirements or for any loss you sustain for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited.
→ A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers (including children and infants).
Airport Transfers
→ Airport transfers are included on the official arrival and departure dates of the tour (refer to the tour itinerary). If you are arriving earlier or departing later and have booked extra night accommodation with Go Golfing, transfers are included for you, otherwise, please note that airport transfers can be arranged for you at an additional cost.
→ Once your flights have been booked, please forward your full arrival and departure details to Reservations@GoGolfing.net.au.
