NATURALLY PICTURESQUE - JACK’S POINT

With a backdrop of 2,300 vertical metres of the Remarkables mountain range and an outstanding lake panorama, Jack's Point Golf course is one of the most visually spectacular in the world. Jack's Point is only 20 minutes from downtown Queenstown, the course is open for all visitors to enjoy 7 days a week in season.

The course offers golfers an exciting challenge with five tee positions to choose from, providing all golfers an unforgettable golf experience. The course measures 6,388 metres (6,986 yards) from the championship tees and is built on the most spectacular of Jack's Point terrain. Designed in harmony with the natural environment, the course weaves through native tussock grasslands, dramatic rock outcrops, steep bluffs and swathes of native bush to the edge of Lake Wakatipu.

New Zealand’s South Island is the home of soaring mountains, pristine nature, friendly locals, and picture-perfect vineyards.

On this tour, you’ll be transported to the purest natural landscapes, from wildlife to wineries, from glacial valleys to star-filled skies, and some of the best golf the South Island has to offer. Bubbling with activity, Queenstown will be our base for 9 fun-filled days exploring the region, indulging in new adventures and playing spectacular golf courses.

For your first round, Jack’s Point is one of the world’s great golfing experiences with views of Lake Wakatipu and the razorback Remarkables Mountain Range as a backdrop. This course is so sensational you’ll play it twice!

You’ll go on to visit Queenstown Golf Club, internationally regarded as one of the most picturesque golf courses in the world.

Our adventures then take us to Arrowtown, a charming and quirky gold rush village nestled below the beautiful peaks surrounding the tranquil Arrow River. This is where we’ll play Millbrook, home of the NZ PGA.

Finally, Wanaka will delight you with its laidback feel and scenic golf course. During your holiday, you can opt to fly over the Southern Alps for a unique golf experience teeing off at over 4500 feet high.

November 2024 Tour - Where will we go…

  • Day 1 - 26 October 2024 - Arrive in Queenstown

    Gaze out the plane window and witness the stunning green mountains and valleys of New Zealand come into view. Upon arrival, you will be transported to the Crowne Plaza Queenstown Hotel. This hotel offers breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range, located in the center of town and near the popular Steamer Wharf with great dining, bars, and a casino.

    Join your tour host for a casual welcome dinner and drinks.

  • Day 2 - HOME OF THE NEW ZEALAND OPEN: Millbrook Golf Club - Remarkables Course

    Nestled between the picturesque towns of Arrowtown and the stunning Lake Hayes, the Remarkables Course at Millbrook Golf Club awaits you. Combining the Remarkables and Arrow nines, this course offers an exceptional golfing experience that Millbrook is renowned for.

    Non-golfers are in for a treat on the Queenstown Gin Tour. This gin tour stops at 3 boutique gin locations around the Queenstown area. This tour departs Queenstown in the early afternoon. You will be picked up from select locations in Queenstown by your guide and transported to our first location, the Cardrona Distillery. Your next stop is an easy drive down the Crown Range into Arrowtown, to visit a wonderful cellar door experience called ‘The Winery’ where you will have a self-guided experience, using the knowledge you have just gained to select your gin tasting paddle along with shared grazing boards. The last stop is a 15-minute journey to Arthurs Point where we visit the “Gin Garden by Broken Heart Spirits”. This gin experience has been designed to be a nice mix of education, sightseeing and fun.

  • Day 3 - NATURALLY SPECTACULAR: Jack's Point Golf Course

    Nestled between the towering Remarkables Mountain Range, boasting an impressive vertical span of 2300 meters, and the shimmering expanse of Lake Wakatipu, this course is a sight to behold. Designed with utmost respect for the surrounding landscape, Jack's Point embraces the natural contours of the land, requiring minimal excavation during its creation. As you make your way through the course, be prepared to encounter steep bluffs and rugged terrain, adding a thrilling element to your golfing experience.

    Non-golfers are in for a treat at Walter Peak with an array of activities that cater to all sorts of interests. After a delightful gourmet BBQ lunch, the adventure continues with an entertaining and informative farming experience, all set against the backdrop of the picturesque lakeside at Walter Peak.

  • Day 4 - Queenstown gondola to the Skyline Restaurant

    Today we head out on a full day sightseeing of the charming Queenstown. Ride the Queenstown gondola to a skyline restaurant for a midday or evening meal, and enjoy scenic views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables range.This day promises to be filled with delectable wines, fascinating underground explorations, and breathtaking vistas from the peak.

    Get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty and charm of Queenstown as you create memories to last a lifetime. We don't want to give everything away here, but you are sure to be talking about this for years to come.

  • Day 5 - NATURALLY SPECTACULAR: Jack's Point Golf Course - Round 2

    Golfers return to Jack's Point - the course seamlessly blends into its natural surroundings, with panoramic views of the mountains and the lake adding to the overall beauty of the course.

    Non-golfers have the day to explore everything Queenstown has on offer.

  • Day 6 - Optional Excursion to Milford Sound

    After breakfast you have the day to yourself to spend as you wish. Queenstown is known as the Adventure Capital of the World after all! We highly recommend a day cruise to Milford Sound.

    Observe one of the world’s most spectacular sceneries: ancient alpine forest, waterfalls, the famous Mirror Lakes and stunning Christie Falls. For the more adventurous, there's always bungy jumping or paragliding.

  • Day 7 - NEW ZEALAND'S MOST SCENIC GOLF COURSE: Queenstown Golf Club

    As you navigate the undulating fairways, you'll find yourself surrounded by tall pine trees, creating a sense of tranquility and natural beauty. Keep your camera at the ready, especially at the signature 5th hole, where the breathtaking scenery is sure to leave you in awe. After your round, take a moment to savour the amazing views at the 19th hole. Let the beauty of the surroundings sink in as you relax and reflect on a day well spent.

    Non-Golfers a mystical adventure awaits. Discover the splendour of Glenorchy and the renowned Paradise Valley. Marvel at the breathtaking Dart River, immerse yourself in captivating New Zealand storytelling, and delve into the intriguing world of Maori Mythology.     Passports & Visas

    → A visa may be required. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they’re holding a current visa for the countries they’re visiting. If the traveller is on a non-Australian passport, a valid re-entry visa may be required.

    → You are responsible for visas, entry, health and other requirements, and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. Go Golfing is not responsible for passport and visa requirements or for any loss you sustain for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited.

    → A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers (including children and infants).

    Airport Transfers

    → Airport transfers are included on the official arrival and departure dates of the tour (refer to the tour itinerary). If you are arriving earlier or departing later and have booked extra night accommodation with Go Golfing, transfers are included for you, otherwise, please note that airport transfers can be arranged for you at an additional cost.

    → Once your flights have been booked, please forward your full arrival and departure details to Reservations@GoGolfing.net.au.
