Designed by renowned modern golf architect Tom Doak and Australia ex-European tour pro and course designer Mike Clayton, Barnbougle Dunes was once a strip of land along the coast of a potato farm on Tasmania’s north east coast.
Rugged mountains and crystal blue waters shape the island state of Tasmania. Though affectionately known as the Apple Isle, you’ll find a wonderful selection of premium seafood, cheese, honey, truffles, whisky, gin and crisp, full-bodied wines in Australia’s southernmost region. Play your way through the best courses Tasmania has to offer, including Lost Farm (#2 in Australia) and The Dunes (#4 in Australia) at Barnbougle.
You’ll also tee off at golfing gems, 7 Mile Beach, Launceston Golf Club, Country Club Tasmania and the newly opened 7 Miles Beach Links Course, watch out for the signature 11th at Royal Hobart Golf Club with six bunkers surrounding the green!
Start your sojourn in the capital, Hobart. Explore the city and discover the World Heritage listed Australian Convict Historic Site at Port Arthur. Continue north to Launceston and play a hole at the oldest golf course in the southern hemisphere!

→ If you can no longer travel or make it on the trip, you can transfer your booking to someone who can at no additional cost.

→ All bookings come with a 48-hour window from the time of booking where you can cancel and receive a full refund of all payments made, no questions asked. After 48 hours and in the lead up to the trip, your payments made are subject to our Booking Terms & Conditions.

All cancellations must be advised to us in writing to confirm. We have a flexible booking policy in place so you can book with peace of mind. Should you cancel, you will be entitled to a refund based on our Booking Terms & Conditions.

Travel Insurance
→ We strongly recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking this tour. Travel insurance is not just for when you are travelling, it also provides protection in the event that you need to cancel your trip due to other reasons covered under your policy. We recommend you check your insurance policy and its terms and conditions to ensure you are adequately covered.
Passports & Visas
→ A visa may be required. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they’re holding a current visa for the countries they’re visiting. If the traveller is on a non-Australian passport, a valid re-entry visa may be required.
→ You are responsible for visas, entry, health and other requirements, and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. Go Golfing is not responsible for passport and visa requirements or for any loss you sustain for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited.
→ A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers (including children and infants).
Airport Transfers
→ Airport transfers are included on the official arrival and departure dates of the tour (refer to the tour itinerary). If you are arriving earlier or departing later and have booked extra night accommodation with Go Golfing, transfers are included for you, otherwise, please note that airport transfers can be arranged for you at an additional cost.
→ Once your flights have been booked, please forward your full arrival and departure details to Reservations@GoGolfing.net.au.
Please note: If we don’t receive your flight details more than 21 days prior to the start of the tour, we cannot guarantee your airport transfers.
